description Terms of service

Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Blooby, a desktop app that summons an animated mascot for each Claude Code session, and its website https://blooby.me/, published by BIG et Nouf. The app is free to download; the site hosts the mascot shop, accounts and downloads.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or making a purchase, you fully and unconditionally accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

3. Account

An account is optional and only required to buy or sync paid packs. Sign-in goes through a third-party OAuth provider (GitHub, Codeberg) or an email magic-link. You are responsible for the security of the account you use to sign in.

4. Purchases & licenses

All purchases are one-time; there is no subscription. Buying a pack or a tier grants your account a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the included mascots inside the Blooby app. It does not transfer any ownership of the artwork, and it grants no right to use it anywhere else. Billing is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record.

5. The mascots belong to us

Every mascot (its design, its artwork, its animations, and the code that brings it to life) is the exclusive intellectual property of Blooby. Buying a pack buys the right to see it in your app. It does not buy the mascot.

So, plainly: you may not copy, extract, redistribute, resell, publish or reuse a Blooby mascot, animated or still, whole or in part, in any product, project or material of your own, without our written permission. That includes lifting the artwork out of the app, out of this website, or out of any file we serve.

And to be clear about something that could otherwise be misread: our mascots are on public display on this site, and the files that draw them are necessarily delivered to your browser and to your app. Being able to see or download something does not make it yours to reuse. Public display is not a licence.

If you want to use a mascot somewhere (a video, an article, a product, a talk), just ask. We are reasonable people, and the answer is often yes.

6. The free tier

The free mascots are available to everyone, forever, with no account and no payment. We may change the exact free set over time, but will not remove access to packs you have already unlocked.

Free to use, that is; not free to reuse. Section 5 applies to them exactly as it applies to the paid ones: they are ours, and taking them out of Blooby still needs our written permission.

7. Availability

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability or continuity. We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance. The app keeps working offline regardless of the site's availability.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for any indirect damage, loss of data or loss of profit arising from the use or unavailability of the service. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose and not to attempt to disrupt or circumvent its security. We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms.

9. Changes

The publisher may amend these terms; the "last updated" date above is revised accordingly. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Arras, France.
