What is Blooby? add
Blooby is a desktop app that gives every Claude Code session its own animated mascot. Each mascot reacts to what its session is doing in real time, so you can see the status of all your running sessions at a glance without switching windows.
Do I need an account to use Blooby? add
Not to use the free mascots. An account is only required to buy credits and to unlock the paid mascots, so that your purchases follow you from one machine to the next.
Does Blooby read my code or send data anywhere? add
No. Blooby is offline-first with no telemetry, and the free tier never talks to any server. It watches your Claude Code session state locally on your machine, not the contents of your code.
Do I have to configure hooks or edit config files? add
No. Blooby sets up its Claude Code hooks and detects your sessions for you, automatically. There is nothing to wire up and no configuration files to edit. Under the hood it uses every hook Claude Code exposes, which is how it reports the right state at the right moment.
